  • Meet all standard course entry requirements, including English language proficiency
  • Not start your course through the FutureLearn platform
  • For continuing/returning students: Maintain at least 65% Weighted Average Mark (WAM) each prior year and have 8+ credit points left (if re-admitting to Deakin)
  • Achieve country-specific academic thresholds (e.g., equivalent to 65% WAM or higher, such as specific GPA/ATAR/IB equivalents—detailed on official site for each country)

No separate scholarship application is needed—you’re automatically assessed when you apply for admission.

Australia University scholarship

  1. Apply online for your chosen SEBE undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at Deakin University
  2. Submit required documents (transcripts, English test scores, passport, etc.) to meet entry criteria
  3. Upon receiving a course offer, eligible students from the listed countries are automatically considered for the 20% tuition reduction
  4. Notification comes with or after your offer letter; accept the offer to secure the scholarship
